WELCOME TO POPPY PERRY MEDIA
I created Poppy Perry Media to help small business start-ups and small business owners to create powerful visuals for their brand on a tight budget.
As a small business owner myself, I understand that when you are just starting out, or even if you have been running your business for some time – and it’s taking a while to get it in the kind of shape you need it to be – your budget for advertising, marketing or any kind of self-promotion can be minimal if not non-existent. And that’s a problem – right? To get your business noticed you need to be ‘out there’. Drawing attention to yourself. Today, thanks to social media, it is so much easier to give yourself a presence than ever before. But are you making the right impression? That’s where Poppy Perry Media can help.
I will come to film you at your place of business to create a ‘3 minute miracle’ promotional video for your business. Short, impactful and lets your customers see the real you. If you offer a service, it is a great way to give potential new customers an authentic feel for what they can expect when coming to see you for the first time.
In addition, Poppy Perry Media can help with website design and build, video and sound editing and business card design. You and your business are my passion and I would love to help you grow your brand and above all blossom online!
PROBLEMS WE SOLVE
When you are a small business owner, whether you have been established for a while and your business isn’t growing in the way you had hoped, or you are just starting out planning just how to grow your business can be daunting. You have joined all the networking groups and there are other members offering you services galore – Social Media Experts, Marketing Experts, Branding Experts, Business Coaches, Video Producers and Content producers.
It is wonderful that you now have access to all these amazing people but the feeling is one of complete overwhelm. This is where Poppy Perry Media can help. I can help you cut through all the ‘noise’ and help you focus on what you need to be doing to create a strong presence, especially online.
My mission is to help people like you grow your business with services don’t cost the earth. My speciality is creating short, impactful videos for your business that don’t cost the earth. Video is a great way to get notice online, especially on social media. Did you know that globally, YouTube is consumers’ leading source of video content, at 83% and Facebook is second, at 67%?
So I understand that having great video to represent your business is hugely important to get you seen and more importantly remembered.
Check out this selection of videos that I have produced for small business owners in Maidenhead. To see my full gallery, go to https://vimeo.com/poppyperrymedia:
MORE THAN JUST A STORE…..
Goyals in Maidenhead have been an integral part of the community for over 50 years. They are known as ‘The Uniform Shop’ but their store is so much more than that. They use local suppliers and really are the heart of local. As well as providing uniforms to school children of all ages, they also supply branded sports, dance and workwear.
In this series of three videos we get to take a virtual look at their store, meet the staff and see how they do things ‘behind the scenes’.
SHOWCASE YOUR SPEAKING SKILLS
People buy from those they know, like and trust. Showcasing what you do with branded video will raise your profile and lift you above your competitors. Here is some footage taken from world renowned Psychic Anne Jirche’s Train The Trainer course held in Taplow, Berkshire.
BUSINESS PROMOTION – CARTMELL CONSULTING
Presenting your business visually is critical in today’s fast-paced market place. Did you know that 70% of Marketing Professionals report video converts better than any other mediums?
Here is a series of videos I did for legal firm Cartmell Consulting. They are a mix of talking head and whiteboard animation whilst using green-screen technology – putting Rob at his London Office whilst filming in the comfort of his own home.
INSPIRE CONFERENCE 2019
I had the honour of filming The Business Girl’s Network’s Inspire Conference on International Women’s Day, supporting domestic violence charity DASH. Here is a selection of videos that give a flavour of the day.
WHY YOU LOVE US
At all times, she was positive, hard-working and encouraging, and it helped a mere novice like me feel able to produce something I had long put off doing.
She took the basic content of ideas and produced a professional and effective set of videos. Her support to me and what she has produced is greatly appreciated.
The brief was to create lots of smaller video clips which I can use across the year to promote my business and the next conference in 2020.
Melanie has done an exceptional job. She followed the brief perfectly and worked tirelessly not only on the day of the conference but afterwards to deliver some stunning video footage. Melanie is super professional, conscientious and a joy to work with.
If you are looking for a video to use to promote your business and as part of your marketing and social strategy, I would 100% recommend Melanie.
Melanie is so professional and organised. She gave me a lot of support, as I was very nervous, and she directed the whole filming exercise in a calm and effortless way.
Melanie captures the essence of what you are looking for with her creativity and is a joy to work with.
Thank you Melanie for making the whole process so enjoyable!
My expectations were well and truly met. Melanie was so professional and she really knows her stuff! The filming was a breeze and she really made me feel at ease in front of the camera. James (Melanie’s little boy) joined in with the games, and bless him, stole the show!). The editing was amazing! The video just flows effortlessly and everyone who has seen it has remarked on how professional it looks. I thoroughly recommend Poppy Perry Media for video and or editing.
Thank you Melanie!
She is also working on a short video for my page which is looking great already.
Melanie totally ‘gets’ my issues with technology! I’m late to the table in terms of understanding the power of social media and she has been incredibly understanding and supportive.
Thank you Melanie!
